Compassion

I watched a video on tv tonight about a young woman who is petrified about losing insurance if the Affordable Care Act is repealed. This individual suffers from bipolar II.

I share this concern as I have two very close friends that are bipolar and I’ve seen firsthand what not having the necessary meds means. As one very close friend has said to me, “If you don’t take your meds, it’s like your bones want to rip out of your body.” The thought of allowing anyone to go through something like this is atrocious, to say the least.

Have you, Mr. President, ever held someone for 3 hours trying to reassure her that it’s going to be alright as they are in agony? You hold onto her as tight as you can and convince her that it’s going to pass and it’ll be ok.

This is the kind of compassion that you are apparently oblivious to.
